** UCLH Perioperative Medicine Fellow Opportunity **

University College London are advertising an amazing opportunity for a POM fellow starting August 2021. I would like to highlight the advert is now out for the Perioperative fellowship for UCLH. This is the third year that we have been given an opportunity to develop a joint perioperative fellowship post with University College Hospital London, under the supervision of Professor David Walker.

The fellowship post is open to anyone at ST5+ level from August 2021, as an out-of-programme placement from our School. This can be counted either as an OOPE or OOPT on discussion with the TPD/Head of School. In addition to this, A complimentary second advanced training placement would be completed in programme. Fellowship advertised is for 6 or 12 months from August 2021. The post is based in London, where your salary will be funded by UCLH, plus they will provide their Perioperative Medicine MSc free of charge to the successful applicant (usually £13,000).

Professor Walker is keen to look at comparative data between Wales and central London populations as a theme for an MSc. UCLH is the most prestigious centre for peri-operative medicine and quality improvement science in the UK, therefore twining our training programme with them is a fantastic opportunity for both the School and our trainees.
