WPOMS: All Things Perioperative Anaemia

W-POMS is excited to introduce ‘WPOMS: All Things Perioperative Anaemia’ - a one-day conference coming to Cardiff on Monday 19th April 2021

We have teamed up with EBPOM and TopMedTalk to bring this fantastic hybrid event - with a small number of face to face delegates and opportunities for virtual engagement online! Head to wpoms.eventbrite.co.uk to book your place NOW!

The programme features many international experts in the field, including the lead authors of the recently published PREVENTT trial. It is set to be a really interesting day, with information on setting up an IV iron service, how to manage anaemia in specific patient groups and how the results of PREVENTT will inform our management of preoperative anaemia going forward. There will also be free access to key note talks from previous EPBOM conferences and a chance to get involved in panel discussions.

WPOMS can offer 40 delegates the face-to-face experience at The Village Hotel including lunch and refreshments and the opportunity for discussion groups. For those who would rather take part online - we are lucky enough to be streaming the day via the EBPOM platform which allows you to enjoy the day from home.

We are also calling for abstracts to be submitted by 12th Feb 2021 - with all submissions being displayed as poster presentations and the top 3 submissions wit be invited for oral presentation and judged for prizes.

As POM enthusiasts - we would really love to see as many of you there as possible either in person or virtually to put Wales on the map - so get buying those tickets now as places are limited! It really is set to be a fantastic day!

Stay safe, WPOMS
